ROOF THERMAL INSULATION APPLICATION
An important part of the heat loss in the outer shell of the building is the heat energy lost from the roofs. This heat loss on roofs should be prevented by using certain quality thermal insulation materials.
The use of thermal insulation materials will vary according to the type of roof. In cold roofs, where the attic space is not used as a space, the heat retaining material can be laid directly on the floor. If the attic is used as a space, the thermal insulation problem must be solved directly in the cover system.
Thanks to the roof thermal insulation, you feel cool in the summer period and you get a warm environment in the winter!
Glasswool roofing mat, which is produced in three different features as 300, 350 and 400, is used on the floor in unused attics, between rafters in used roofs, in horizontal applications without load, on metal and sandwich roofs.
The mattresses are applied by laying on the floor in the unused attic insulation. Since the glass wool roof mattress is lightweight, it is very easy to remove and cut and apply to the roof. Due to the properties of glass wool; It does not tear or waste during application. It easily adapts to any type of roof. Care should be taken to ventilate the upper part of the insulation in order to eliminate the risk of condensation in winter and to evacuate the air that is overheated by the sun in the roof in summer. Mattresses should not be covered with nylon or similar covers. Mattresses covered with aluminum foil should be laid with the foil side always on the warm side. After the application, no load should be placed on the material and should not be walked on.
